Seit September 2008 bietet das NightwalkTeam Dresden und die Messe Dresden die thematische Stadtführung "In the footstep´s of Kurt Vonnegut - Slaughterhouse Nb.5 Tour" an.
Wir huldigen mit dieser Tour den bekannten und umstrittenen Autor Kurt Vonnegut, der als Kriegsgefangener im
"Schlachthof Nb5" - dem heutigem Messegeländes - die Bombardierung Dresdens am 13.02.1945 überlebte und seine Erlebnisse in der Novelle "Schlachthof Nb.5 - der Kinderkreuzzug" 1968 niederschrieb.
Durch dieses Buch wurde Dresden in der angelsächsischen Welt bekannt. Diese Tour soll dazu beitragen, Informationen zu Kurt Vonnegut, seinem Buch und der Geschichte des "Alten Schlachthofes" im Ostragehege den Interessenten näher zu bringen.

We pay homage to this tour with the famous and controversial author Kurt Vonnegut, a prisoner of war in
"Slaughterhouse Nb5" - the current fairgrounds - the bombing of Dresden on 13.02.1945 survived and his experiences in the novel "Slaughterhouse Nb.5 - the children's crusade" written.
